Capital Quill — Where Financial Insight Meets Narrative Clarity

Research-driven content and education for institutions, investors, and financial brands that want to lead conversations — not follow them.

At Capital Quill, we believe that the most valuable edge in modern finance is not access to information — it is the ability to interpret it clearly.
We work with financial institutions, fintech companies, investment firms, and educators to transform complex financial ideas into compelling narratives, high-quality research, and thought leadership.

Vaibhav Jain

Founder & CEO

Vaibhav Jain founded Capital Quill after more than a decade working across the financial ecosystem — from investment banking to private wealth management to fintech platforms.

His career began in data analytics consulting before moving into investment banking at Deutsche Bank, where he worked on several landmark equity capital market transactions including IPOs, QIPs, and block deals across Indian and international markets.

He later transitioned into private wealth management at Edelweiss Financial Services, advising high-net-worth individuals, founders, and investors on portfolio strategy and asset allocation.

In 2021, he joined fintech startup WealthDesk to lead partnerships and help scale the platform’s ecosystem before its acquisition by PhonePe.

Following the acquisition, Vaibhav led content and education initiatives for PhonePe’s broking platform Share.Market, building editorial teams, educational programs, and investor-focused market communication.

Alongside his industry career, Vaibhav has remained deeply involved in financial education.

He is:

  • A CFA Charterholder
  • A CMT Charterholder
  • A visiting faculty at institutions including Indian Institute of Management Indore and Masters’ Union
  • A regular writer and speaker on markets, investor psychology, and financial literacy

Through Capital Quill, Vaibhav aims to build a research-led content studio that combines institutional rigor with the clarity of great storytelling.

Why Capital Quill Exists

Finance has never suffered from a lack of information.

Every day, millions of investors scroll through charts, reports, podcasts, tweets, and newsletters. Data is abundant. Opinions are everywhere.

But understanding remains scarce.

Markets today move faster than ever. Technology has made investing accessible to millions, but accessibility has outpaced comprehension. In a world of constant noise, genuine insight often gets buried beneath speed, speculation, and short attention spans.

Capital Quill was built to address this imbalance.

We believe the future of financial communication will not be won by those who publish the most content — but by those who publish the clearest thinking.

Our work sits at the intersection of three disciplines:

  • Financial research
  • Behavioral insight
  • Strategic storytelling

Together, these elements help institutions communicate complex ideas with clarity, credibility, and intellectual depth.

Capital Quill exists for organizations that want to move beyond marketing and build true thought leadership.

From the Desk: Conversations & Podcasts

Ideas are best understood when spoken, debated, and questioned. These conversations reflect how we think about markets, behaviour, and financial decision-making.

Our Philosophy

At Capital Quill, we operate on a simple belief:

Understanding outperforms access.

Technology may open the doors to markets, but judgment is what keeps those doors open.

Every piece of research, content, or educational material we create is guided by three questions:

  1. Does this help someone think better about markets?
  2. Does it improve the quality of financial decision-making?
  3. Does it build trust instead of chasing attention?

If the answer is no, we rethink the work.
